Rita, Denise, Ned, Jim and family. So sorry to hear about your great loss. Though I spent only a short time with Mr. Carter on a few occasions, He made it seem like we had been friends for a long time. Maybe it was because we grew up in the same neighborhood at different times. I grew up in the Proctorville / Rome area. Throughout my life, I have met and got to know a few people who stand out in my mind as amazing Christian people who truly personified the Spirit of Christ. Mr. Carter will always be on my list of brothers in Christ who I consider it a privilege to have know. My memories of him bring me feelings of love and admiration. The same is true of Mrs Rita. How blessed you have all been to have had them in your lives. This sad event is one more reason I have to look forward to going to heaven. God bless you all as you cope with this temporary loss of a beloved Husband, Father and brother in CHrist. God Bless you all. You are in my prayers!!
